The club has a very active dinghy sailing section that meets twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays at 11am at Agios Georgios where a dozen or more boats are on the water for organised races or simply for pleasure. The Club takes safety very seriously and we have two Rigid Inflatable Boats, and at least one of these accompanies the fleet every time dinghies are on the water. These RIBs carry a trained crew able to handle any safety issues which may arise.

Numerous training courses are offered throughout the year, and all aspects of boating are covered; from basic dinghy sailing through to advanced skills, safety training, First Aid, VHF radio protocols etc. all offered in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and at minimal cost. Members are quick to offer helpful advice on all aspects of sailing.

The Club owns a number of sailing dinghies which are available for use by members having the necessary skills. Currently, boats available include at least one each of the following :- Laser, Wayfarer and Kestrel.

You do not need to own a boat to become a member and many owners often look for people to crew on their boats, so there are many opportunities to get out on the water and gain experience.

Many members own power boats of various shapes and sizes and often get together for pleasure cruising in and around the coastal waters from Paphos to Latchi, and sometimes further afield. PISC encourages members to take the Cypriot high speed small vessel operators license and also arranges Safety Boat courses for members who may wish to be involved with driving our Safety Boats during club events.

Many members own ocean-going cruisers some of which are berthed in Cyprus while others are situated around the world. Offshore Cruising members often arrange to sail together in exotic locations around the Mediterranean and further afield. An annual rally in and around the Greek and Turkish Isles has become a firm favourite, with members who do not own boats often chartering yachts to be part of the rally.
